Send the quote
- Open Quotes in the menu and click the quote.
- Click Send quote. A panel opens.
- Check the fields below.
- Click Send.
The quote page then shows Sent on with the date and Sent to with the address.
The fields
- From: your workspace’s e-mail. The e-mail comes from Skileo under your workspace’s name, and your client’s answers go to this address.
- To: the recipient’s e-mail from the quote. One address only.
- Message template: choose one of your saved messages. It replaces the subject and the message.
- Language of the buttons in the quote preview: the language of the quote page your client opens.
- Subject and Message: change them as you like. You can have the message written or improved with AI.
The link to the quote
The e-mail has no file attached. Your client reaches the quote through a link. Place it where you want with these placeholders:
[quote_link]: a link to the quote page, where your client can accept or reject it.[download_link]: a link to the quote as a PDF file.
If the message has neither of them, Skileo adds the link to the quote page at the end of the message.
Other placeholders put in the quote’s details: [quote_number], [expiration_date] and [company_name], your workspace’s name.
Save your usual message
To avoid writing the same message each time, save it as a template in Settings, Quote messages. The template set as default fills in the panel each time you send a quote.
Other ways to share a quote
On the quote page:
- Download: the quote as a PDF file, in the language chosen under Document language.
- Open public link: the page your client sees. Copy its address to send it another way.
