Copy a quote

Use a copy to offer the same work again, to the same client or another one.

  1. Open Quotes in the menu.
  2. Click the actions button (⋮) on the quote’s line and choose Copy.

The copy shows in the list with “Copy” after its name. It is Pending and has the same client and lines. Its number, its dates and its internal note are empty, and the additional documents are not copied.

Open the copy with Edit, give it a number and a date, change what you need and save it.

Delete a quote

  1. Click the actions button (⋮) on the quote’s line and choose Delete.
  2. Confirm.

To delete several quotes at once, tick them in the list and choose Delete at the top.

Quotes don’t go to the Trash. A deleted quote is removed for good, with its lines, and you can’t get it back. Its additional documents go to the Trash.

The invoices you made from the quote are not deleted.

Common questions

Can I get a deleted quote back?

No. Deleting a quote can’t be undone. If you might need it, change its status to Rejected instead. See Change the status of a quote.

Does my client still see a deleted quote?

No. The link in your e-mail no longer opens it.
