What each choice means
- Everyone: every Business owner and every Member of your workspace.
- Some people: you and the colleagues you choose. With nobody chosen, only you.
- Only me: only you. Nobody else can see the note, not even the Business owner.
What people who see a note can do
Everyone who can see a note can read it, edit its title, text, tags and links, choose where it shows, pin it and change its colour.
Only the person who wrote the note can change who sees it and delete it. The Business owner can do both too, except on notes set to Only me. Other people see who chose the setting.
Common questions
Can the business owner read my private notes?
No. A note set to Only me is only yours.
Do people get an e-mail when I share a note with them?
No. The note simply appears in their Notes.
Why can't I change who can see a note?
The note was written by someone else. Only its author, or the Business owner for a note that is not Only me, can change it.
A note I had open says it is gone. Why?
It was deleted, or it is no longer shared with you.
Does linking a note to a person change who can see it?
No. Linked to only says who the note is about. See Create a note.
