How the trash works in Skileo
When you delete an invoice, a document, a task or another item, Skileo moves it to the trash. It waits there, hidden from the rest of Skileo, until someone restores it or deletes it for good.

Where to find the trash
Open Trash in the Workspace part of the menu. It is there in every software, and the number next to it tells you how many deleted items are waiting.
Each line shows the item’s name and type, who deleted it and when. To find an item, search by its name, or use the Type filter to show one type at a time, such as invoices or tasks.
What goes to the trash
These items go to the trash when you delete them:
- Invoices and credit notes
- Documents
- Contacts
- Bank accounts and bank transactions
- Tasks
- Time off and timesheets
- Surveys and suggestions
- Job offers
Quotes don’t go to the trash. Deleting a quote removes it for good straight away, so check before you delete one.
While an item is in the trash
- It no longer appears in its usual list or in searches.
- Nothing about it changes. If you restore it, it comes back as it was, with its details and attached files.
- It stays until someone restores it or deletes it for good. Skileo never empties the trash on its own.
Who sees what in the trash
- A Business owner sees every deleted item. They can restore items, delete them for good and empty the whole trash.
- A Member sees only the deleted items from the parts of Skileo they have access to. They can restore or delete an item only where they are allowed to make changes: an invoice, for example, needs permission to edit invoices.

Common questions
How long do deleted items stay in the trash?
Until someone restores them or deletes them for good. Skileo doesn’t delete anything from the trash automatically.
Why does an item in the trash say “No name”?
The item had no name when it was deleted, for example a bank transaction without a description. Its type, the person who deleted it and the date still show. Restore it to see all its details.
Why can't I see an item that was deleted?
As a Member, you only see deleted items from the parts of Skileo you have access to. Ask the Business owner of your workspace, who sees everything in the trash.
