Use the agenda and Coming up

The Agenda view lists your calendar day by day, with today at the top. Above it, Coming up counts down the next HR dates, such as an employee's first day or a document that expires.

Open the agenda

In Calendar, choose Agenda in the toolbar, or press A. On a phone, the calendar opens on the agenda.

The agenda shows about six weeks as one list of days:

  • Today is at the top of the list, highlighted.
  • The days before today are above it, in lighter colours. Scroll up to see them.
  • Days without events are grouped into one line, Nothing planned.

Click Show earlier or Show later to add four weeks to the list. The arrows next to Today move the whole list four weeks back or forward.

Click an event to see its details and what you can do with it, as on the other views. The buttons under the toolbar and the people you chose work here too. See Use the calendar.

Coming up

At the top of the agenda, Coming up shows the dates nobody types into a calendar, with how long is left:

  • An employee’s first day.
  • The end of an employee’s probation.
  • The end of an employee’s contract.
  • An employee’s departure.
  • A document that expires. See Set an expiry date on a document.

It covers the next 60 days, the soonest first, and shows up to 12 dates. Click a date to open the employee or the document.

These dates come from the employees’ contracts and from the documents. To change one, change the contract or the document.

Common questions

Why is Coming up not there?

Nothing is coming up in the next 60 days, or you can’t see these dates. A Member sees the employees’ dates with the Employees permission, and the documents they are allowed to see with the Documents permission.

Can I drag events in the agenda?

No. To move an event, use the Month, Week or Day view.
