Repeat an event

Make an event repeat

1. Create an event, or open one and click Edit.
2. Open the list under the time. It says Does not repeat.
3. Choose how often the event repeats:
   • Daily
   • Weekly, on the same day of the week
   • Monthly, on the same weekday of the month, such as the second Tuesday or the last Friday
   • Annually, on the same date
   • Every weekday (Monday to Friday)
   • Custom…: your own rule, see below.
4. Click Create, or Save for an event you changed.

The choices follow the event’s date. For an event on a Tuesday, for example, the list offers to repeat it every Tuesday.

Set your own rule

Choose Custom…, then:

1. In Repeat every, type a number and choose days, weeks, months or years. For example, every 2 weeks.
2. For weeks, choose the days in Repeat on. For months, choose the day of the month or the weekday, such as the first Monday.
3. Under Ends, choose:
   • Never
   • On: the last date.
   • After: the number of times.

When you click a repeating event, its details say how it repeats, such as every 2 weeks on Monday, 10 times.

Change a repeating event

Click any date of the event, then click Edit. The form shows the first date of the series. Your changes apply to every date.

A repeating event can’t be dragged to another time. Change its time in the form.

Delete one date or the whole series

1. Click the event on the date you want to delete.
2. Click Delete.
3. Choose:
   • This event: only this date goes. The other dates stay.
   • All events: the whole series is deleted.
4. Confirm.

The people invited can get an e-mail: the updated series when you delete one date, or the cancellation when you delete them all.
