Make a voice or video call

Start a call

1. Open the conversation in Messages: a chat with one person, a channel or a group.
2. Click Call (the phone) or Video call (the camera) at the top right.

The call opens in its own window. It rings the other people of the conversation.

The first time, your browser asks if Skileo may use your microphone and your camera. Allow them.

Answer a call

When someone calls you, a card shows at the bottom right of any page of Skileo, with the caller’s name.

• Click Answer to join the call.
• Click Decline to say no.

It rings for 45 seconds. If you did not answer, the card shows Missed call.

Join a call that is going on

While a call goes on, a bar under the conversation’s name says so, with the people in the call. Click Join. You can also click Join on the call’s line in the conversation.

Up to 8 people can be in one call.

During the call

The buttons at the bottom of the call window:

• The microphone: turn it off or on. Shortcut: M.
• The camera: turn it off or on. Shortcut: V.
• Share your screen: show your screen to the others. Click Stop sharing when you are done.
• Leave the call: the red button.

The call ends when the last person leaves. The conversation keeps a line for each call, with its length, or Missed call.
