This policy explains how Skileo Ltd (“Skileo”) uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites, including www.skileo.com, in the Skileo web application, and on public pages hosted by Skileo (careers pages, job offers, shared quotes and invoices). It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser and scripts or resources loaded from another provider’s server. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
First-party cookies are set under the domain you are visiting, even when a provider such as Google Analytics uses them. Third-party cookies are set under another provider’s domain.
2. When we ask for your consent
EU law requires your consent before information is stored on or read from your device, unless this is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always active. They keep you logged in, protect the Service, remember your language and record your cookie choices.
- Support chat cookies are set only when you open the support chat, because they are needed to provide the conversation you asked for.
- Payment cookies are set only when you choose to pay online, to secure the payment and prevent fraud.
- Statistics cookies are used only if you accept them. Statistics tools do not load before you make your choice. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and refusing does not limit your use of the Service.
We keep your choice, whether you accept or refuse, for 6 months, then ask again. You can change it at any time with the Cookie settings link on our website and in the application.

Statistics — only with your consent

Other third-party resources. Where a page loads a resource, such as a font, from a provider’s server, your browser connects to that server, which receives your IP address. These resources do not set cookies.
We do not use advertising or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not send names, email addresses or other content you enter in the Service to our statistics provider.
4. Managing your choices
- Cookie settings: use the Cookie settings link on our website and in the application to accept or refuse statistics cookies, or to withdraw your consent. Your choice applies across our websites, the application and our public pages.
- Your browser: you can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This is in addition to our cookie settings, not a replacement for them. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in.
- Google Analytics: Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics on all websites.
If you withdraw your consent, statistics tools stop collecting data about you and we delete our statistics cookies from your browser where technically possible. Withdrawal does not affect data already collected with your consent.
5. Mobile applications
If you use a Skileo mobile application, it stores information on your device to keep you logged in and, if you allow it, to send notifications, which you can turn off in your device settings. Notification permission is not consent to statistics. The application does not use statistics or advertising identifiers unless we first ask for your consent.
6. Changes and contact
