# Let a candidate choose an interview time

On the candidate's application, open the Interviews tab and click Let the candidate choose. Skileo makes a link with the interviewers' free times. The candidate picks one and the interview is booked.

## Create a booking link

1. In Recruiting, open the candidate's application.
2. Choose the “Interviews” tab.
3. Click “Let the candidate choose”.
4. Choose the days to offer, in “From” and “To”.
5. Choose the “Duration” of the interview.
6. Type the “Location”: a room, an address or a video link. Click “Add a video link” to add a link to a new video call room.
7. Choose the “Interviewers”.
8. Leave “E-mail the link to the candidate” on to send the link to the candidate.
9. Click “Create the link”.

Skileo shows the link and how many free times it offers. Click “Copy” to send it yourself, then click “Done”.

## Which times the link offers

The link offers the times when all the interviewers are free:

- From Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00 in your time zone, every half hour.
- At least 24 hours ahead.
- With 15 minutes free before and after the interviewers' other interviews and meetings.
- Never during their time off or a holiday.

You can offer up to 31 days.

## What the candidate does

The candidate opens the link. They don't need an account. They see the free times in their own time zone, pick one and confirm.

The interview is then booked. It shows in the “Interviews” tab and in “Calendar”. The candidate and the interviewers get an invitation by e-mail.

## Who can create booking links

A “Business owner” can. A “Member” can with the “Applications” permission set to “Write”.


## Common questions

### The link offers no time. Why?

The interviewers have no common free time on the days you chose, within the rules above. Choose more days, or other interviewers.

### Can two candidates book the same time?

No. A time that is taken is no longer offered. If a candidate picks a time that was just taken, they are asked to choose another one.

### How do I plan an interview at a time I choose myself?

Click “Add interview” in the “Interviews” tab, and choose the time.
