# Delete a note

Open the note and click the trash button at the top, or choose Move to trash in the list. To get the note back, click Undo in the message that follows.

## Delete a note

1. Open the note.
2. Click “Move to trash”: the trash button at the top right of the note.

In the list view, you can also click the actions button (**⋮**) at the end of the note's line and choose “Move to trash”.

There is no confirmation. The note goes to the trash, and Skileo shows “The note is in the trash”.

## Get a deleted note back

Click “Undo” in the message, right after the delete. The note comes back as it was.

> **Good to know**
> Deleted notes are not listed on the Trash page. Use “Undo” in the message to get a note back.

If someone deletes a note while you have it open, the note shows “In the trash”. Its author, or the “Business owner” for a shared note, can click “Restore it”.

## Empty notes

If you remove a note's title and text, the note goes to the trash when you close it. Skileo shows “The empty note was moved to the trash”, with “Undo”.

## Who can delete a note

The person who wrote it. The “Business owner” can also delete any note that is not set to “Only me”. Other people don't see the trash button.
