# Create a job offer

In Job offers, click Add new, describe the job, the profile, the salary and the place of work, then click Create job offer. A new job offer starts inactive.

## Create the job offer

1. Open “Job offers” in the menu and click “Add new”.
2. Fill in the sections below. Fields with a star are required.
3. Click “Create job offer”.

The job offer page opens. See [What a job offer page shows](https://www.skileo.com/help/en/read-a-job-offer-page).

## “Job details”

- “Title”: the name of the position, as candidates will see it.
- “Job category”, “Department” and “Contract type”: choose them in the lists.

## “Job description”

What candidates read on the public page: the company, the job and its tasks. You can format the text: titles, bold, lists and links.

To have the text rewritten, type at least 150 characters, then click “Enhance with AI”. The AI writes a complete job description in the language you use Skileo in. Read it and change what you want before you save.

## “Required profile”

- “Seniority level”: choose it in the list.
- “Required skills”: type a skill and press Enter. Add as many as you need. They are used to find matching people in your CV database.
- “Required profile description”: the experience and qualities you are looking for, in your own words.

## “Job compensation”

- “Currency” and “Salary Frequency”: for example euros, per month.
- “Salary from” and “Salary to”: the salary range.
- Turn on the first switch to keep the salary confidential. The public page then doesn't show it.
- Turn on the second switch if you can sponsor a visa for a candidate from another country.

## “Job location”

1. Choose whether you accept remote work: “On site”, “Occasionally” or “Full remote”.
2. Fill in the “Address”, “City” and “Country”. They are required, except for a job that is “Full remote”.

## “Application form”

Choose the files, links and answers candidates must send. See [Choose what candidates send with their application](https://www.skileo.com/help/en/choose-what-candidates-send).

## “Publishing”

- “Offer status”: a new job offer is “Inactive”. Choose “Active” to open its public page now, or later from the job offer page. See [Publish and share a job offer](https://www.skileo.com/help/en/publish-and-share-a-job-offer).
- “Followers”: the people of your team who follow this job offer. Each of them gets an e-mail when someone applies. Without followers, the e-mail goes to the “Business owner” and to every “Member” who may change applications.

## “More options”

Click “More options” to add the “Employee benefits” and an equity range, with “Equity from” and “Equity to”.

## Common questions

### Why can't I click Enhance with AI?

The description needs at least 150 characters. The counter under the field shows how many it has. After one rewrite, the button stays off. To use it again, delete the text and start over.

### Is there a limit to the AI rewrites?

Yes. Each workspace has a number of rewrites a day. When they are used up, Skileo says so: try again the next day.

### What happens if I leave the page before saving?

Skileo asks you first. If you leave, your changes are lost.

### Can I start from another job offer?

Yes. Open the job offer and choose “Duplicate” in its menu. See [Edit, copy or delete a job offer](https://www.skileo.com/help/en/edit-copy-or-delete-a-job-offer).
